We are also notified with the Office of the Information Commissioner for the Worldwide transfer of data, and registered as a credit reference agency under the Consumer Credit Act 1974.

Credit Reporting Agency is the UK's first Internet based provider of consumer credit reference information.  Conveniently and quickly we deliver information to anyone with access to the Internet. 

Using checkmyarea.com, consumers are able to access information about any UK postcode for free.This information is sourced from several databases, including Cameo – a geodemographic database which classifies approximately 2 million postcodes in the UK. Each postcode is given a ‘best match’ to one of 54 ‘standard’ neighbourhood types. Each postcode is ‘matched’ to the type which is considered to be the best fit . It is important to note that the description given on checkmyarea.com relates to one of the 54 neighbourhood types and not specifically to your area.  Inevitably not every part of the description of a standard neighbourhood type will match a specific area.
